2003 Album
SOUL
OCCUPATION
16 0riginal song CD,
recorded during the better part of 2002 and released in the spring of
2003, Soul Occupation has been and is still being played by fine independent
radio stations on the web and across the US, Europe, and
Australia. Jack Rabid of The Bigtakeover Magazine (July, 2003) wrote "One
could see a major label picking up these guys, they do it much better than Dave
Matthews." Dave Mathews isn't the only name dropped
around the album, others include Steely Dan, Bob Dylan, Counting Crows, and
Lenny Kravitz to name a few. (For more reviews see the link below).
A multi-instrumentalist, Tony plays guitar, bass, keyboards, and harmonica while Chris Szajko (Owner/Operator of Grandmaster Studios, SB, Ind. ) sits in on
drums along with Brent Easton and Richard Williams (Owner/Operator of Sir
Richard's Styling Salon, Benton Harbor, Mi.) contributes on saxophone
while Ed Lester (sax player and vocalist in the popular Kazoo. Mi. band,
The Crossroads Blues Band) plays sax and flute.
